WELCOME

to
Lionheart's French Bulldogs

We are Yana and Milan.
We now live in Tennessee, on the Cumberland Plateau
(just in the middle between Nashville and Knoxville), USA.

For 18  years we specialized in  breeding and showing English Bull Terriers.

As time went by, these strong powerful guys were too much for us to handle and show,  so we switched to French Bulldogs, and have a lot of fun with them!

Originally, we are both from Czechoslovakia (today's Czech Republic).
We escaped from there in 1969 thanks to our Great Dane "Beno"- we went to a dog show in Austria and did not see our homeland again until the Communism was defeated.
Our daughter Sarka and her husband  live in Washington state and our son
Martin with his wife and their sons Logan and Ryan live in NY state.

and enjoy this video

All these are Lionheart kids.
Marshal (The Bull Terrier) and Homer,Josey and Patti ( Frenchies )
they live with Laura and her family in CT .

We are applying all our knowledge in canines to our Frenchies.
We health test and feed natural diet.  All our adults and puppies are fed 2/3 Natural Diet: raw ground turkey,  we grind and feed raw chicken necks and other raw meats, fresh eggs from our fowl, vegetables and fruits, plus 1/3 of dry top quality dog food.

Occasionally we have puppies and older dogs to place.
Frenchies are active, gentle and funny little creatures who make us very happy.
We show our canine kids ourselves.
Their spines, elbows and hips are x rayed and eyes, hearts plus patellae are tested.

AKC MEET THE BREEDSŪ: French Bulldog

Often described as "a clown in the cloak of a philosopher," the French Bulldog originated as, and continues to be used as a companion dog.
The breed is small and muscular with heavy bone structure, a smooth coat, a short face and trademark "bat" ears.
Prized for their affectionate natures and even dispositions, they are generally active and alert, but not unduly boisterous.
Frenchies can be brindle, fawn, white, and brindle and white.
