Some information regarding my artistic approach and goals:
My goal is to spend my retirement time creating art for people to enjoy and maybe own long into the future. Lately I did few custom jobs and loved it.
I learned how to use digital media to modify my art pieces to match people's interior color preferences.
To illustrate, below is sample of work I had done for some of our friends. They wanted two pieces of art - Determination and a custom work showing one of their French Bulldogs.
Below is photo of the customer's living room. The picture "A" next to it is the original Determination and next picture shows the room with "Color-Matched" Determination ("B"). I made this composition for my customer's approval before ordering the print. We discussed total of four color schemes before choosing this one. The size, as shown was to be 24x40 inches. The final decision was to print the piece at 20x36 inches.
Below is the "color-matched" Determination freshly printed on canvas and stretched using Gallery Wrap, which saves money because there is no need for an expensive frame. It also has a very modern look.

Here are the "Custom order" images. Originally the customer wanted only one picture; I created and "color-matched" the gray one, shown in the middle of the Triptych (three pictures). I was playing around and sent them composition of their living room image with the three pictures as shown; the customer loved it requested four pictures instead. I added the greenish-hued one on the far right. The result can be seen below. We agreed on subdued, relaxing colors. I printed these four as 13x13.5 inch "border-less" prints on a very high quality Epson's Ultra Photo Premium Luster paper media. This (shiny) paper finish is perfect for modern graphics with large areas of flat colors. Epson guarantees that images printed with their inks on their paper will not color-fade for 200 years.
